After graduating from Queen Margaret University in 2008 I have built up several years of NHS experience alongside running my own private podiatry practice. I am HCPC registered and a member of the college of podiatry.

I provide a home visit service which can include residential / nursing homes and sheltered housing complexes. Evening and weekend appointments are available.

I love my job and take pride in providing the up most care in the treatments I deliver. This commitment has resulted in a high number of repeat custom and recommendations.

Treatments Provided

Routine Footcare appointments last approximately 30minutes. The treatment begins with an initial consultation. The feet are then assessed and treated as required. An individual treatment plan will be discussed with you during your treatment. Treatments provided include the following.

  • Toenail cutting

  • Ingrowing toe nail

  • Corn removal

  • Callous reduction

  • Diabetic foot care

  • Foot wear advice

  • Biomechanical assessment

  • Provision of insoles

  • Blisters

  • Foot wear advice

I provide all my own equipment, all you need to do is decide upon a comfortable chair that is (ideally) not too low. If it’s your first appointment, a list of any medication you are taking would be much appreciated.

I understand that you may occasionally need to cancel or reschedule an appointment. All I would ask is that wherever possible you try to give at least 24 hours notice.  Unfortunately repeated failure to do this may result in missed treatment costs being charged.
